JG Drive, Jonny, runs 204 Miles for Speed of Sight

In 2026 Jonny Greaves, JG Drive Driver Training based in Nuneaton, is taking on a personal challenge to run 204 miles through organised running events to raise funds for Speed Of Sight.

Speed Of Sight is a UK charity that gives adults and children with disabilities the chance to drive specially adapted cars on real race tracks. For many, it’s an experience they never thought possible.

This challenge exists to help make that happen.

Why this matters

Driving is more than a skill.
It’s freedom, confidence, and independence.

Speed Of Sight opens that door for people who are often told it’s closed to them. Through specially adapted vehicles and controlled environments, they create moments that stay with people for life.

Every mile Jonny runs supports that mission.

The 204-mile challenge

Jonny’s target is 204 miles, inspired by the 204mph world record set by Speed Of Sight co-founder Mike Newman.

Those miles will be completed across organised running events throughout the year. Some runs will be big, some smaller, but all will count towards the total and be shared as the challenge progresses.

What your support does

Every £100 raised gives someone the chance to drive through Speed Of Sight.

That means:

  • Confidence
  • Independence
  • A moment of freedom many never expected to experience

Jonny’s fundraising target is £10,000, helping around 100 people take part in these life-changing driving experiences.

How to support

  • Donate if you can
  • Share the fundraising page
  • Follow the journey as the miles add up

Jonny will do the running.
Your support makes the miles matter.
